Recently, Casco Signal Ltd. officially partnered with Weihong Technology to build the first AI+ process digital management platform in the rail transit industry based on the AlphaFlow process platform, achieving intelligent management of the entire business process lifecycle with "full-link integration, full-element collaboration, and full-cycle control."
As the first Sino-foreign joint venture in the Chinese railway system, Casco has been leading industry change since its establishment in 1986 by China Railway Communication Signal Co., Ltd. and Alstom:
1. Leader in comprehensive markets: It is the only integrator of rail transit control systems in the industry covering all fields including railways, urban rail transit, intercity railways, regional railways, and trams, participating in the construction of over 100 CBTC lines with the highest domestic market share; it has also been involved in constructing over 170 high-speed rail and passenger dedicated lines, leading the market with its dispatch command products.
2. Global influence: It possesses the world's most comprehensive product line for train operation control systems, with a service network covering the global rail transit network.
3. Boundary breaker: Leveraging over 30 years of accumulated patented technology, it has extended the rail transit control system into the low-altitude economy sector.
Since launching its informatization efforts in 2010, Casco has undergone more than a decade of exploration and practice, transitioning from informatization to digitization, and now entering the crucial stage of deepening business transformation. In the face of new demands from group strategic upgrades, developing a standardized and intelligent business process management system has become the core tool for breaking through the deep waters of digital transformation. This time, guided by the digital transformation of the IPD process, the focus will be on three major value dimensions supported by the AlphaFlow intelligent process platform:
1. Strategy-driven process architecture reconstruction. Building a stratified process architecture at levels L1-L3 around the company's strategic and business development needs to achieve visualized and standardized management of end-to-end business processes. While ensuring full process coverage, it focuses on core business scenarios, clarifying the optimization paths and implementation plans for each module, and continuously evolving the organization toward a process-oriented model.
2. Role-driven intelligent process portal. Establishing an enterprise-level unified process portal platform that accurately maps jobs to processes, enabling structured integration and dynamic management of decentralized process assets. Based on a role model, it builds an intelligent push mechanism that automatically links job personnel with related processes to form a standardized, reusable process knowledge system, ensuring consistency and collaborative efficiency in process execution.
3. End-to-end process empowerment for organizational capability upgrade. Building a digital process management system that covers the entire chain, eliminating the disconnection between traditional process documentation and digital systems execution, ensuring that management elements such as systems, organizations, resources, indicators, rights, and responsibilities are dynamically matched and integrated based on the processes, forming a single “skin” management of processes and systems.
In the subsequent cooperation, the AlphaFlow project team will further assist Casco in continuous process optimization, constantly improving process maturity and operational efficiency to adapt to the rapidly changing market environment and customer needs, providing clients with more efficient, intelligent, and safe services.
