Recently, Wonly Security Technology Co., Ltd. (stock code: 605268, abbreviated as "Wonly Security"), a leading Chinese security door and lock manufacturer, has partnered with WiHarper to build an IPD process management system based on the AlphaFlow platform. This collaboration aims to achieve digital management of end-to-end product development, thereby enhancing R&D efficiency and product quality, and solidifying its leading position in the security industry.
Since its establishment in 1996, Wonly Security has adhered to the R&D strategy of "develop one generation, use one generation, and reserve multiple generations." The company has built a comprehensive security product matrix covering secure doors, smart locks, wooden doors, medical doors, smart windows and doors, smart home systems, and full-house customization. As a high-tech leader integrating research, design, manufacturing, sales, and services, Wonly Security officially listed on the Shanghai Stock Exchange A-share main board on February 24, 2021, becoming the first listed security door and lock company in China.
In the current context of the intelligent security industry accelerating towards high-quality development, product iteration cycles are continuously shortening, and the level of technical integration is constantly increasing. Traditional R&D management models are facing efficiency bottlenecks and collaboration challenges. In this phase of the project, Wonly Security will focus on deploying a comprehensive IPD solution that covers "end-to-end process integration, full-element control, and data-driven management." By building three core capability systems, the company will fully support the transition from traditional segmented R&D to digital collaborative R&D.
1.Cross-Team Collaboration for End-to-End IPD Process Management. Based on IPD methodology, the end-to-end R&D process will be restructured, integrating all elements of product package management (scope, planning, quality, etc.) into parallel business flows. A process-driven IPD operational mechanism will be established. Integration of data from systems such as PLM and DingTalk will enhance cross-team collaboration efficiency.
2.Quantitative Management of IPD Project Processes. Customized management of project lists, basic information, teams, thresholds, plans, deliverables, risks, performance, and other multi-dimensional data will be implemented. Real-time monitoring of project execution status through visual data dashboards will make process management quantifiable. Enhanced online process control will ensure the quality consistency of task nodes, approval flows, and deliverable transfers, continuously improving the maturity of R&D management.
3.Accumulation of IPD Business Process Assets. Key node data from projects will be systematically collected to establish a standardized organizational knowledge base. Through the continuous accumulation of business process assets, occasional successes will be transformed into reusable high-quality management systems, effectively improving the efficiency and quality of subsequent similar product developments.
During the project implementation, the AlphaFlow team will leverage their extensive experience in IPD implementation in the high-end manufacturing sector. By combining this with the specific characteristics of the security industry, they will assist Wonly Security in establishing an industry-leading R&D management system through process reengineering, system integration, and intelligent control, thereby continuously consolidating its competitive advantage in the global security market.
